Canton Texas 11/27/06

After Thanksgiveing we went to Canton Texas home of the biggest junk sale this side of New Brunswick.
There Dorothy and Diane spent all of Buba and Les money. But we all had a great time.
It was cold there but was a lot of fun. It would take about a week to see all that is there.

Thanksgiving in Texas

Well It happen again.
The last time I got a 19.5 in small mouth Bass, Diane took a picture of me and the fish ( but had her finger over the lens and all you could see is me and the tail of the fish.
Well today I got a 21 in Sea Trout

I give up. ( it was a nice fish ) and im going to eat it this week.

Yes I have a hard time see it too. dang sun.

Birthday party

Yesterday we left Austin to Padre Island by the Gulf of Mexico, really beautifully here.
we went to a birthday party for Caitlin daughter of Mat and Kim ( Kim, is Casey sister )

We are in Austin Texas.
We came to spend some time with our son-in law Casey, our Daughter Tanya, and our grandsons Michel and Trever.

We are staying at a RV park on Lake Travis. The lake is down about 30 to 40 feet

The weather has been nice around 45% at night and 75% day time But I hear that a storm is a comeing.

We entered Texas, Mike and Karen also came to Texas but went to another area.

We spent the night in Corsicana Texas, the next day we came to Onalaska Texas to see our good friends Buba and Dorothy.
Buba and Dorothy are in the process of buying land to put there Mobile home on.( it was good to being with them again )

We also went into Livingston, and got to see our good friends Art and Tanya Ziebell, (Art and I work together at Lockheed )

Today we are at Hot Springs Arkansas. Boyhood home of President Bill Clinton.
Hot Spring Arkansas is known more for there hot springs and Bathhouses on Bathhouse row.( Bath and Massage )
Includes Whirlpool Mineral Bath and 20 min full body massage. at a Cost of $47.00

Today we just drove to Corsicana Texas, and its bed time so goodnight.

Internet at last.

Today we have internet first time in 11 days.
I will try and catch ya up to what was going on.
We made it to Chandlerville, Illinois and spend a week with our good friends Bill and Charlotte, on there 50 th anniversary at there farm.
( No cell, No internet, No e-mail, No mail, No pony express. )( Just good friends and lots of fun. )

From here we went to Pittsfield Illinois, we stayed at a city park with a nice lake. Just sat around and enjoyed life for three days. ( No internet and cell only 1/2 time)

9/25/06 ON THE ROAD

Today we traveled 355 miles to Cheyenne Wyoming.
We were able to spend the evening with Diane's Brother, Lee and his wife Dar.
Lee had just got home from a hunting trip a hour before we came. ( He shot bamby's cousin ( a Antelope )
He had to get up a 3 AM and we kept him up tell 10 PM. ( I think he's glad we are going in the morning. )
AGAIN TO SHORT BUT HAD A GOOD TIME

9/24/06 on the road

Today we traveled 476 miles to Evanston Wyoming. There we enjoyed time with our good friends, Craig and Margaret.
A short time but a good time. The bad thing is we won't see them tell we make it back to Mexico.
We would like to thank them for putting us up for the night.

On THE ROAD AGAIN

We left Netards Or. at 7:30 this mornning and headed for Boise Id.
to see our good friends Don and Sue.
It was so nice that Sue and Don invited us for supper (which was outstanding ) thanks.
It was great to see them again.
We didn't bring a camera so I had to use this picture of Don and Sue from last year. ( there better looking this year )
Big Spruce RV Park started a big party as we were leaveing ( hope to show pictures in a few days. ( the party was because we were leaveing )

Easy day

Today was a easy day for me as Jamie and Ashley were in California and grandmy went to work at the senior center.
Buba and I went clamming and Crabbing. we did real good maybe to good ( ha ha ) we won't say a word about it.
We did get rained on tho.

Today was just a relaxed day, Just drive around and see what we could. As you can see we just found a few Cows to make chocolate ice cream.
